Did you know that the Lion King was Disney’s first original animation. That’s right, it was not adapted from a pre-existing story. Pretty cool! Included in the original story line were some pretty amazing quotes. Here are our favorites from the movie;
You said you’d always be there for me!
Simba
[hr]
Run away, Scar. And never return.
Simba
[hr]
Bad things happen, and you can’t do anything about them.
Timon
[hr]
Pinned ya! Pinned ya again!
Nala
[hr]
See, I told you having a lion on our side wasn’t such a bad idea.
Timon
[hr]
Long live the king.
Scar
[hr]
Hakuna Matata
Timon
[hr]
It means you’re a baboon. And I’m not.
Rafiki
[hr]
It’s the circle of life, and it moves us all through despair and hope, through faith and love.
Rafiki
[hr]
Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen. Nobody knows my sorrow.
Zazu
[hr]
Whoa! Whoa! Wait, Wait Wait! I know you, you’re Mufasa’s little stooge..
Shenzi
[hr]
And so we are all connected in the great circle of life.
Mufasa
[hr]
Woah! Jeez, why do I always have to save your a-aaaaahhhhh!
Timon
[hr]
I was first in line, until the little hair ball was born!
Scar
[hr]
Oh yes, the past can hurt. But, you can either run from it or, learn from it.
Rafiki
[hr]
I beg your pardon ma’am, but GET OFF! Simba? Nala?
Zazu
[hr]
Eat my buddy pumba here because he is a treat!
Timon
[hr]
I ate like a pig.
Pumbaa
[hr]
Run away, Simba. Run. Run away and never return.
Scar
[hr]
Look Simba. You’re in trouble again. But this time Daddy isn’t here to save you and now everyone knows *why*!
Scar

The Lion King is a wonderful animated movie. I remember seeing this film for the first time years ago with my family when it came out on VHS tape. I think that my dad enjoyed the movie the most. Amazing. Although my dad has been gone for three years now, it really does not seem like it. This really is something. This post is about The Lion King and my father’s name was Leo. Next, I see that there is a character named Nala.
I wonder if Halle Berry thought of this name when she named her daughter. I think that her daughter’s name has a letter “h” at the end of her name though. Cute post. Very cute and memorable.
Lion King was based off a Japanese animation called Kimba the White Lion. I dob’t believe Disney have EVER done an original story.
And? Why do you have to share this information? A good amount of people have known this already, just like you. The quotes aren’t from Kimba, so there’s nothing here about it.
What’s wrong with sharing the information?

Kimba’s and Simba’s stories are entertaining and worthy of praise. Kimba was simply first, entertaining thousands from late 1950 on. The character parallels in each universe are too numerous and precise to make coincidence believable though. I have fond memories of the Kimba jungle lord series from my childhood. I have many more fond memories of enjoying Simba in the lion king movies with my daughter.
